"Life brings tears, smiles, and memories.
The tears dry, the smiles fade, but the memories last forever"
Hoyt was a force to be reckoned with. Every human he touched left a lasting impression. He demanded their attention, and very quickly, they were hooked by his infectious personality. His presence was like no other. A unique life cut short. His fearless energy propelled him into dock diving for his favorite toy, the frisbee. Exhaustion didn’t exist in his world when a frisbee was involved. The mere sight of any agility equipment ignited his competitive spirit to dominate the ring. His excitement was uncontainable, and it was a quality you'd want to encourage. His athletic ability shone in the presence of any body of water. He repeatedly jumped into ponds, swimming pools, creeks, oceans, and lakes to swim. Hoyt's excitement for the ride was unmistakable. When the sun was shining and the top was down, he proudly wore his Jeep hair. He protected his family with the vigor of a lion. When he realized you were a friend and not a foe, Hoyt captivated you with his desire for belly rubs. Once he befriended you, he greeted his favorite people with such joy that your heart would swell. Hoyt was the rock that grounded his family home. He was his mom’s ride-or-die.
He will forever be missed.
“In the embrace of a senior dog, we find the warmth of a lifetime of shared moments, a love that transcends the boundaries of time”.
At two months we welcomed the cutest puppy into our home, named after the group, not the bug. He immediately found his space under Wayne’s desk while he worked. Beatle never was in a dog show or won a title, but he taught us so much. In the over 15 years he was with us, there were many changes in the family, Beatle was there to cuddle and comfort us when there was a loss. He shared our joy as we welcomed grandchildren and took helping babysit very seriously. He loved laying as close as possible to the babies. He enjoyed taking Gator rides, this was the last event we shared with him. Other favorites were snack time, especially Doritos but only if they had melted cheese on them; going on car rides; working on his tan on the boat; and getting a biscuit at the bank. He looked forward to “Beatle Mania” when we came home, this was a version of a pillow fight, leaving our bed in a mess. Beatle loved people, other dogs not so much, but he did accept it when Willie and Tux joined the family. Beatle was the boss and they knew it. To the delight of many, he could “say” pepperoni and got a lot of it when he asked. When we went on walks, when he figured he had enough exercise, Beatle would run as fast as he could back to the house. As the years passed, his hair turned grey, his vision got blurred and he became deaf. When his decline progressed rapidly, we knew it was time to say good bye. I only wish we could do it all over again. Love your fur babies while you can, the time goes way too fast.
